Scanner labels in the 70x38mm format are used in scanner rails that have a label insertion height of 39mm. If you don't want to use the exact size, so that the scanner labels are not inserted flush to the top edge of the shelf rail, you can use 38mm high labels made of perforated paper. The perforated paper labels are printed by your cash register or merchandise management system, your graphics application or via a word processing program.
